Book Blurbs:

Anne Edester (Goodreads Reviewer) Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

The illustrations are so cute! I still remember my nervous feelings before the first day of school everyday. Now my own children are going to a new school this year and I have nervous feelings with them! Hopefully this book will help kids realize that those nervous feelings are perfectly normal.

Jenessa Nawrocki (Goodreads Reviewer ) Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

This book would be excellent for children who become anxious over change, or children with Autism, who have marked responses to change, and need things to go just as they expect. This book can teach children that although change is difficult, it does not always have to be bad. Emily, despite a lot of anxiety about her new classroom, liked it in the end and the day was not as frightful as she had expected it to be.

Rebecca Sims (Goodreads Reviewer) Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

This is a good book for anyone who is transitioning into a new class and is aimed especially at children with additional needs. The messages are simple and clear and I think would be well received and helpful. The illustrations are simple and effective. A definite must read for a child who needs that little bit of reassurance regarding their new class in September.
