Steph Mullin and Nicole Mabry are the award-winning authors of The Family Tree and When She Disappeared. They met as coworkers in New York City and have continued to write long distance after Steph’s relocation to North Carolina. By day, Steph works as a senior creative director in digital marketing, and Nicole works in postproduction for a television network. Steph and Nicole served as co-leaders of Debut Programming for the International Thriller Writers Association through 2024, and Nicole is an active member of Crime Writers of Color.
