About The Book:

About The Author:

Gina Sorell returned to her first love—writing—after two decades of working as an actor, on stage, screen and television. Select credits include; The Second City Touring Company and Mainstage Toronto, regular roles on family shows such as “Noddy” (TVO/BBC Kids) and “I love Mummy” (BBC), appearances on dramas such as“CSI Miami” and “Law and Order L.A.” as well as comedic turns in films such as “How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days” where she appeared as everyone’s favourite snarky vegetarian waitress.

Gina is a graduate with distinction from the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program, and the author of Mothers and Other Strangers. Her writing has appeared in Good Housekeeping, LitHub, Dame Magazine, Refinery29, and the Globe and Mail.
