About The Author:
Joanna Monahan lives in North Carolina with her husband, their two children, and two distracting cats. Her love of movies inspires her to write Women’s Fiction for the young at heart—cozy, feel-good stories featuring quirky, memorable characters. Her first novel, Something Better, was named a 2024 Next Generation Indie Book Award winner in both the General Fiction and Chick Lit categories. She is a member of The Authors Guild, North Carolina Writers’ Network and the Women’s Fiction Writers Association.
When she isn’t writing, Joanna enjoys theatre, baseball, and bookmarking recipes she will never make. A child of the 80s, she regrets that she no longer receives pizza coupons in exchange for reading books.
