But when her best friends ditch her, and her good deeds go sideways, Neon wonders if she’ll get the miracle she needs . . . before it’s too late.

About The Author:

Meira Rosenberg began 28 Days of Neon, a New Voices in Children’s Literature: Tassy Walden Awards finalist, while vacationing with her family at their cabin in Maine. Her debut middle grade novel, Indiana Bamboo, won the Tennessee Mountain Writers Excalibur Award for a first-time novelist, was the Tassy Walden Awards middle grade Honor Book, and won First Prize in the category of Children’s Book-Fiction in the Connecticut Press Club Awards.

She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Manhattanville College and has taught English and Writing at the University of Connecticut and Connecticut State Community College. She is also a lawyer and a former Literary Trustee of the Lorraine Hansberry Properties Trust.

She and her husband have three children who are now young adults, and who, while growing up, had dogs, cats,

guinea pigs, hamsters, goldfish, hermit crabs and the occasional garter snake who was banished to a terrarium on the front porch. Now they live with one rambunctious pup who is as wise as Rainbow and who loves to dance.
