About The Book:

A group of teenage misfits are sent to a rugged reform school on a remote Irish island with the hope they can salvage their lives. Hiking among the ancient ruins, they find the “serpent’s lair” wormhole. Tumbling into the wormhole, they discover a parallel world where Ireland’s extinct animals are still alive. After returning to the present, the misfits are determined to save endangered animals. They hatch a conservation plan that goes viral. Then they turn on each other.

About The Author:

Therese Gilardi’s poetry, essays and short fiction have appeared in numerous anthologies and journals, including “Literary Mama,” “Onthebus,” “Ariel Chart,” “Oyster River Pages” and “Punchnel’s.” Therese is the author of “Matching Wits with Venus,” “Narvla’s Celtic New Year,” and “The Arsenic of Archangels.” Therese is the Mentorship Program Advisor for the Women’s Fiction Writers Association and a member of the Los Angeles Poets and Writers Collective. A long time cinephile, Therese serves as a juror for the Socially Relevant Film Festival.
